April Fools prank nearly ends in a$$ beating

I like to pull pranks on my friends.

I think it's fun.

And because I think it's fun, I decided to pull one on a friend of mine a couple years ago.

The year was 2014. The date: April 1st. You know what that means. Go time.

So, what'd I do?

I took pictures of my friends brand new 2014 white audi A8 and posted an ad on craigslist. In the ad, I said: "Leaving to the Phillipines in 5 days MUST SELL CAR ASAP. Please respond with inquiries. $1,400 O.B.O. text or call xxx-xxx-xxxx."

Ohhhh that did the trick.

You have to remember...my friends car was brand new at the time. And easily worth $20k+.

Suffice to say, craigslist buyers were on it like hotcakes (is that even a phrase?)

I went over to my friends house that night too and you'll never believe what happened....read my email below to find out.

Sub line: he was pissed…

“I couldn’t hold my laughter...”

My friend told me a story about an April Fools prank he pulled years ago.

I know [contact name], April Fools Day was last Thursday…

But if you want to hear a funny story keep reading.

So, why couldn’t my friend hold back his laughter?

Because he pulled off a ridiculous Aprils Fools prank on his friend.

This is what he did:

He hopped on his computer and fabricated a bogus craigslist AD for his friend's “brand-spankin-new” 2014 white Audi A8...pictures and everything (the car was worth $20k+ easy)

Granted, this was 2014. But he posted the AD on craigslist for $1,400 and said…

“Need to sell car ASAP moving back to the Philippines in a week and can’t bring the car with me. Please message me now. Car won’t last long.”

How many people responded?

Well...

My friend journeyed over to the guy’s house that night to hang out. When he arrived he said he witnessed his friend's phone BLOWING UP.

His friend would answer the calls and say “NO MY CAR IS NOT FOR SALE!” He’d slam his phone down and say “WHY AND WHERE ARE THESE CALLS COMING FROM?!”

It was at this moment my friend couldn’t hold his laughter any longer. He tried to keep a straight face but his attempts were futile. His friend glanced at him and did a double take…

And exploded with fury.

My friend was compromised.

“IT WAS YOU!”

He charged at my friend like a flaming bull in an attempt to tackle him to the ground. The rest is history.

Anyways…

The calls and texts stopped pouring in after my friend was asked (forced) to take the AD down.

But they’re still friends and laugh about it til this day.

So what does this have to do with keto?

Absolutely nothing.

I just thought I'd share a funny story with you and hopefully make you laugh on this Monday evening.

But if you’d like it to be about keto we can do that too.

If you wanna play a belated April Fools day prank on your friend who’s not keto, then buy a bag of my mix and tell them it is. I guarantee you they’ll love it.
